Matthew Richmond

Matthew Richmond is the Group Leader Land Design and Analysis in the Joint and Operations Analysis Division of the Defence Science and Technology Group. He completed a PhD at the Research School of Chemistry, Australian National University in 1999. After 18 months as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Ottawa, he joined the Defence Science and Technology Group in 2001. His research has focused on preparedness analysis, development of modelling and analysis tools, complex decision-making and organisational adaptability. He has completed postgraduate studies in operations research and scientific leadership.
