Scott Holmes
Biography
Lieutenant Colonel Scott Holmes enlisted into the Army in 2003 and has served in diverse regimental, staff and training positions including appointments at the 1RAR and 2RAR. Lieutenant Colonel Holmes has served on several operational deployments to Afghanistan and East Timor. He is currently a Staff Officer Grade 1 in the Soldier Combat System Program at Army Headquarters.
Lieutenant Colonel Holmes has completed a Bachelor of Professional Studies, a Masters of Emergency Management, attended the Australian Command and Staff College in 2016 where he was awarded a Masters of Military and Defence Studies. In 2018 he was awarded a Chief of Army’s Scholarship and is currently undertaking a Doctorate at the University of New South Wales focused on the implications of a Fourth Industrial Revolution for the Australian Army.
