Sam Baumgarten
Biography
LTCOL Sam Baumgarten was commissioned as an Artillery officer in 2006 and had operational service in Iraq and the UAE. He transferred to the Reserve in 2013 and served as an Engineer and Infantry officer, with sub-unit command of A Company, 1st/19th RNSWR. He attended the Canadian Forces College, graduating in 2023. He practised as a solicitor in private practice and with the New South Wales Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for a decade.
