John Simeoni

Lieutenant Colonel John Simeoni is a graduate of the Royal Military College, Duntroon. His postings have included service with the 1st and 2nd Battalions, the Royal Australian Regiment; a Regional Forces Surveillance Squadron in north-western Australia; and an instructional appointment at the School of Infantry. He deployed to Somalia as a member of the Unified Task Force in January 1993 and to East Timor with the INTERFET coalition. Lieutenant Colonel Simeoni attended Australian Command and Staff College during 2002. He was then posted to Project Metropolis, a section of the United States Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory. He is currently posted to the Land Warfare Development Centre in Puckapunyal.
