Charles Weller

Colonel Charles Weller, CSC and Bar, served three decades in regimental, career management, and training postings. This included three years commanding 4th Regiment, RAA. He later led the Centre for Defence Leadership and Ethics, and spent several years on staff of the Defence and Strategic Studies Course (DSSC). He served on peacekeeping missions in the Middle East and South Sudan, coalition operations in the Middle East, and in Solomon Islands. Since transferring to the Reserve in 2022, he has supported the Australian Defence College in leadership and ethics. Beyond Defence, he was a Director in Deloitte for several years, was part of a UNSW/DARPA project, and is a leadership coach. He holds degrees in economics, business, defence studies, and strategic studies, and completed the Australian Command and Staff Course and the DSSC.
