Richard Bushby

Colonel Rich Bushby is an infantry officer who has served in Joint, Army and Special Operations Command appointments in operations, personnel management and training roles. He has served operationally in East Timor, Israel and Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan as a platoon and company commander, United Nations Military Observer and Mentoring Team Commander. He is a graduate of the United Kingdom’s Advanced Command and Staff College and holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (UNSW), a Master of Arts (International Relations) (Deakin), and a Master of Arts (Defence Studies) (KCL). His current posting is as the Director Global Operations at Headquarters Joint Operations Command.
