Kate Tollenaar
Biography
Lieutenant Colonel Kate Tollenaar served for over 20 years in the Royal Australian Corps of Signals and is currently a Reserve officer. During her career, Kate worked in regimental and strategic communications units in Australia and overseas, including on active service on Operation Catalyst in Iraq. She has contributed to the Australian Army Journal, the Australian Journal for Strategic Studies, and military blogs including Grounded Curiosity, The Forge and The Strategy Bridge. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), a Master of Defence and Strategy and a Master of Applied Cybernetics, and is a Distinguished Graduate of the University of New South Wales and the Australian National University.
