Gareth Rice

Captain Gareth Rice is a cavalry officer at the Combat Training Centre where he is the lead planner for Operation Slipper Mission Rehearsal Exercises. A graduate of the University of New England and the Royal Military College – Duntroon, Captain Rice is currently undertaking postgraduate studies at the University of New South Wales. Captain Rice deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 as an Operational Mentoring Liaison Team Leader with Mentoring Task Force – 4 and has also worked with the British Army during lead-up training and deployment to Afghanistan in 2013.
