Eustace G. Keogh

Biography

Colonel Eustace Graham Keogh, Royal Australian Infantry (Retd), was the founding Editor of the Australian Army Journal in 1948.

Colonel Keogh was editor of the Australian Army Journal from 1948 to 1965. During this period he also produced the military history series commencing with his publication on the Shenandoah campaign. Many of these publications were researched and written and by Keogh himself and many survive as authoritative campaign guides today, testament to the quality of his work. He is also the author of numerous articles and books, including Suez to Aleppo and The River in the Desert.

Colonel Keogh died in 1981.
