David Stahel

Biography

David Stahel is an Associate Professor in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of New South Wales in Canberra. He is the author of numerous historical studies in German military history, especially of the Wehrmacht in the Second World War. He has published seven books with Cambridge University Press, including Operation Barbarossa and Germany’s Defeat in the East, Kiev 1941, The Battle for Moscow, Joining Hitler’s Crusade and Hitler’s Panzer Generals.
