Tim Inglis
Biography
Professor (Colonel) Tim Inglis is a Medical Microbiologist with the Western Australian state pathology service (PathWest), has academic appointments with the Schools of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Western Australia, and has a Translation Fellowship with the Western Australian Country Health Service and is lead investigator on an NHMRC IDEAS grant (2021/GNT2012074). He has served as a specialist medical officer with the Army Medical Corps since 2002, including on Operation Solania, COVID-19 and Aged Care Assist. During OCA he served as Senior Medical Officer to Task Force 629.6 throughout the pandemic. In previous appointments he has been Supervising Pathologist 1 HSB, SMO 13 BDE and SMO 2DIV. He is currently posted to Health Reserves Advisory Group-West.
