Rain Liivoja
Biography
Dr Rain Liivoja a Professor of Law at the University of Queensland, and a Director of the Asia-Pacific Institute for Law and Security. He has previously been an Expert Advisor to the Global Commission on Responsible Artificial Intelligence in the Military Domain (GC REAIM) and a Visiting Legal Fellow with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. His research has covered various legal issues relating military science and technology, military operations and military discipline. He has served on governmental, academic and civil society delegations to multilateral meetings on humanitarian law and arms control, including the GGE LAWS.
