Kent Beasley
Biography
Major Kent Beasley was an Artillery officer in the Australian Army for 20 years. His final posting in the Army was as Executive Officer,Plans, at the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters in Brisbane. He deployed with the International Force East Timor in September 1999 in Dili, where he was employed on the headquarters as the staff officer responsible for the information operations campaign. He remained with the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters after his return from East Timor as the Information Operations Officer for the 1st Division. He is currently with the Rowland Company in Brisbane, a corporate communication firm, where he is a manager in the issues and crisis management group. Major Beasley graduated from the Royal Military College, Duntroon, in 1986. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and is currently completing a Masters of Business Administration. He is a graduate of the United Kingdom Gunnery Staff Course (1993). His previous postings included the 1st Field Regiment; the 4th Field Regiment; the 40th Field Regiment (Royal Artillery); the School of Artillery; and the 6th Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment.
