Eliot Cohen
Biography
Professor Eliot Cohen is currently the Robert E. Osgood Professor at Johns Hopkins University’s Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies where he directs the strategic studies program. He has previously lectured at Harvard University and the Naval War College, and held key advisor positions within the Office of the Secretary of Defence and Department of State.
Professor Cohen has authored and been the co-author of a number of books notably: Conquered Into Liberty: Two Centuries of Battles Along the Great Warpath that Made the American Way of War (2011), and Supreme Command: Soldiers, Statesmen, and Leadership in Wartime (2002).
