Colin Cockroft
Biography
Dr Colin Cockroft is a Senior Principal Engineer and Engineering Fellow at QinetiQ and Engineers Australia. He holds a PhD in hydrogen-based transport, and master’s and honours degrees in electronics and communications engineering. Colin has 20 years’ experience in Defence in special forces and conventional units. He has held senior engineering positions in several defence companies and co-founded an energy consultancy that provided project development services to defence and non-defence clients. In his current role Colin is responsible for QinetiQ Australia’s power and energy program, including the development of products for defence applications.
